Christopher Rose was born in Washington DC. He received a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001, and an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2003.
Christopher’s work has been exhibited in New York in exhibitions at Momenta Gallery, Storefront Ten Eyck, The National Academy of Art, Hudson Franklin, and Camel art Space. He has exhibited abroad at the Schalter project room in Berlin, and Galerie Brisot and Linz in Paris. He has also exhibited his work across the United States in Portland OR at Quality Pictures Contemporary Art, Buckham Gallery in Flint Michigan, Penn State University, and the Athens Institute of Contemporary Art in Athens GA.
Christopher is a former artist in residence of the Chashama studio program and ACRE artist residency
